The NEC EMEA Partner Conference was held in Spain on the 29th and 20th September, in the majestic setting of Hotel Las Arenas. The event brought together NEC’s major distributors and key business partners from over 40 countries across EMEA.

As the awards ceremony got underway, there was no doubt that the UK attendees stood out from the crowd. In an outstanding achievement, Global4 won the award for ‘Best Reseller’ for the second year running. “When put in context against the fierce competition from other Top EMEA Partners, to take the award for a second successive year is testament to the commitment, passion and desire shown by all at Global4” said NEC Sales Director Andrew Cooper.

Nimans collected an award for ‘Best Brand Awareness Creation Partner’ as a result of their excellent marketing campaigns. Meanwhile, MicroP were recognized as the ‘Fastest Growing Distribution Partner’, proving that the UK distribution market is very much alive and kicking.

The UK’s success continued with Southern Communications and Peach Telecom both claiming awards for all-round excellent performance. “Both resellers have gone from strength to strength in the past year; these awards are well deserved” said Cooper. Having received recognition as the fastest growing reseller in the conference twelve months previously, Peach Telecom were delighted to win an award yet again.
